TNA MP Suresh Premachandran told The Sunday Leader that coalition parties of the TNA are still having differences of opinion but making an effort to work together on common issues such as finding a solution to Tamil political issue. “Right now internally within the coalition parties we are having discussions related to the upcoming parliamentary election and as to what stand we will take.

The TNA is also having discussions related to this. Even though more than six years have elapsed since the war ended, Tamil people still have unresolved issues – resettlement is not done to meet the expectations of the people. Therefore we need to decide on our election manifesto,” Premachandran said. According to him, discussions are also taking place related to the list of candidates to contest the election from different districts.  “We are still having differences of opinion.

I do not deny that. However, we are trying our best to get together on common matters,” he said.
