Canada refuses Kohone Visa over alleged ‘War Crimes’.

A planned visit to Toronto by Colombo’s Permanent Representative at the UN in New York, Dr. Palitha Kohona has been put on hold for security reasons following protests by local groups over alleged ‘War Crimes’. Kohona, who also served as the Foreign Secretary in Colombo prior to his appointment in New York was scheduled to deliver a lecture at the Munk Centre for International Studies at the University of Toronto on Wednesday. Student groups in Toronto have vehemently protested at Kohona’s visit saying he represented a country that has been blamed for war crimes and other human rights abuses. The students have even called on the Canadian authorities to deny a visa to the former Foreign Secretary and also to ban him from entering the premises of the university. Dr. Kohona could not be reached for comment . Foreign Minister Rohitha Bogallagama refused to comment on the matter, saying he was not aware of such a development.

Magaret McKone, Executive Director at the University said the planned lecture had to be postponed pending a standard ‘security assessment’ but did not elaborate.

The student groups raised among other issues the deportation of Canadian MP Bob Rae in mid last year considering him a security threat to Sri Lanka and the abductions and killings of journalists.

    KEEP THE PRESSURE up to ban all the Srilankan War criminals traveling outside the island until the UN hunt them like the Serbian War Criminals.
    Palitha Kohona- alleged War Criminal from Australia- must be arrested at earliest as he is still in the west and in the UN buildings.
    We Tamils still not AGGRESSIVE enough nor atriculate enough to wage war against SRILANKAN TERRORISM now SPREADING to the West targetiing Tamil Diaspora.
    Our National leader shown the TAMILS BRILLIANCE in creating the Brave and Brllliant LTTE against all odds without any sort of help of any countries and despite the sabotage by enemy states like India and traitors. SO WE TAMILS CAN DO the same against all the ODDS otherwise we cannot be Tamils at all.
    TAMILS ONCE RULED THE WHOLE INDIAN SUB CONTINENT AND BEYOND INCLUDING INDONESIA NOW REDUCED TO REFUGEES IN INDONESIA WHILE THE WHOLE WORLD JUST IGNORING OUR PLEA AND CRIES BECAUSE WE JUST BECOME PRSIONERS IN OUR HOME DUE TO ALIEN CULTURES IMPOSED INTO US BY ENEMIES WHO FIRST INVADED INTO TAMILS OWN SINTHU VELLI CIVILIZATION.
    If our forefathers lived like US Tamils now, Tamils would have vanished long ago but Tamils in the past never ever lived PATHETIC LIVES like us Tamils now, they were well organized, united, never use so called jathys(SANSKRIT WORD) to divide us, never had so called DOWRY system to lock ourselves within our homes, etc.
    Our enemies deliberately brainwashed Tamils to accept the DESTRUCTIVE Culture in order to keep us focused in TINY CIRCLES and prevent un from challenging the ENEMIES.
    WE MUST BREAK THIS DEADLOCK to be free to help our Great Tamil race with more than 10,000 year old history,
    In India, the Indian NAZIS still not giving EVEN WATER to Tamils because they know if Tamilnadu is prosperous and self sufficient, (Since Tamils- are the only race in India- conquered countries outside India), Tamilnadu will challenge the Indian NAZIs and break free from their FIRST ENEMIES,
    Thats whym the NAZIs ruling the India deliberately sabotaging all attempts by Tamilnadu to get self sufficent and prosperous, Example -recent Indian NAZIs sabotaged the 150 years old Tamilnadu dream of SETHU SAMUTHIRAM Project and allowed Kerala, Kannada and Andra to refuse water and build Dams to stop water flowing to Tamilnadu.
    THIS IS NONE OTHER THAN ANTI-TAMILISM like ANTI-SEMATISM against Jews people.
    We need to regain our CULTURE – BRAVERY and LOVE- not JATHIES and DOWRY destructive culture crippling our Great Tamil race within our homes and preventing to be brave Tamils to help our race,
    Life is ONCE and use or lose our race.
    Forget the past, START NOW to save our Great Tamil race from any enemies from any corner of the world.
    WE CAN OVERCOME ANYTHING and our Rt.Hon.V.Pirapakaran shown with his Will and Skill.
