Tamil Minorities are ‘Vines and Creepers’

  • ‘ Tamils have to believe they are a minority and accept that fact’ says President Mahinda.

  • ‘There is NO special place for the Tamils, and that they as a minority have to give way to the majority’s cultural hegemony’ says Mahinda.

There is hardly a whimper about the state of Tamil politics after the presidential election where the kingmaker status of the key Tamil politicians turned out to be, well, highly overestimated. Since then, most Tamil leaders have been gravitating towards the government, splintering the Tamil political project even further.

Well, all this took my mind back to a time when D. B. Wijetunge was the president, and he said that minorities are ‘vines and creepers’ that grow among the shade giving canopy of the majority…………..  http://www.srilankaguardian.org/2010/03/vines-and-creepers-time.html

Being a sinhala buddhist I am ashamed to read the comments of a sinhala lunatic. Already the sinhala race is split in sri lanka, each hurling abuses against each other.More to come and would reach an uncontrolable state with bloodshed.Already our tamil and muslim brothers are laughing at us.Roshan, you can write any bullshit because this web site is not authorising the comments or don’t have the facility.

As I said so many times, Our Rt.Hon.Mahinda Echoed my messages to the useless tamils to grasp the reality.
Thee is no special place for illegal immigrants in any country on the earth, why the Srilanka have to be exception??
Can tamils ask special treatment in the UK where they immigrated or in Canada?? resounding NO.
