National Freedom Front Leader Wimal Weerawansa told the SLBC Sinhala Service on Sunday (March 7) that he expected the UPFA to win around 12 seats from the Colombo District at the forthcoming Parliamentary Election.

According to him those Tamils and Muslims who did not cast their votes at the last Presidential Election were bound to vote for the UPFA this time. Although Tamils know that NO Political Package will be implemented by President who prommissed one if he wins the Presidential election. He predicted that the TNA would face their worst defeat at this election having made the wrong choices and aligned themselves with anti-national forces.

The controversy over the UPFA’s appeal to voters for a two-thirds majority at the next election not withstanding both Government and Opposition supporters by and large agree that a Constitutional change is long overdue – whether it is abolishing the executive presidency or limiting the president’s powers. However the UNP alleges that giving a two-thirds majority to the ruling alliance would herald the end of democracy in Sri Lanka, despite the government’s insistence that it is committed to constitutional reforms for greater democracy.

While Constitutional Affairs Minister D.E.W. Gunasekera and Education Minister Susil Premjayanth insist that a two-thirds majority is essential for the required reforms UNP’s Biyagama Organiser Ruwan Wijewardene says that the Government does not need two-thirds majority to do so if it is sincere on its much publicised desire towards such reforms. He also rules out the possibility of the UPFA getting a two-thirds majority.

    One cannot see any difference between the Indo Srilankan Propaganda against Tamil liberation struggle by dividing LTTE and Tamils.
    Indian trained militant groups- EPDP, EPRLF, PLOTE, TELO, etc- have been killing Tamils while LTTE target only SINHELLa Military and Police without harming even Sinhalese people- Almost all Sinhala victims were killed by either Srilankan Military and Police or Srilankan and Indian aided Paramilitaries in order to blame the Tigers as terrorists, NO WONDER THE SRILANKA REFUSE and SABOTAGE ANY INVESTIGATION of ANY KILLING of CIVILIAN to save their Terrorist Military and Paramilitaries.
    If LTTE militancy failed, so did the Democratic Politics by the Tamil polity since 1915 to 1976.
    So, according to your theory, both failed, don’t go back to where we were.
    In my view, We must not go back to militancy anymore but take a leaf from the EAST TIMOR Liberation struggle and work for UN REFERENDUM in EELAM to decide the WILL of TAMILS and MUSLIMS of the island while making the NAZI SRILANKAN BANKRUPT like the world did to SOUTH AFRICAN APARTHEID NAZI REGIME.
    By supporting the DICTATORS MAHINDA & BROS Butchers, we are doing diservice to Sinhalese people also because they are at the receiving end of Terrorism by the BUTCHERS now.
    We have to synchronize all Tamil bodies and Tamils with Muslims to fight peacefully and democratically to put pressure to the international community to allow UN REFERENDUM in EELAM. As it is democratic way, No country can veto the referendum.
    As per the USELESS Indian Congress Mules ruling India UNFORTUNATELY, India can never ever challenge the Mighty Chinese anymore, China CHECKMATED the WILLING VICTIM INDIA and IMPRISONED the India within its Natural borders. NEXT LOGICAL PREDICTION WILL BE IMPLODING INDIA INTO PIECES as THEY WERE BEFORE THE BRITISH.
    Don’t Bet on SINKING INDIAN SHIP. India no more a power let alone a regional power.
    Only an insane will hope India will help Eelam Tamils while India cannot even CONDEMN the SRILANKAN NAVY klllings of Indian Fishermen.

    Unless a certain section of Tamil Diaspora, still imbedded in militancy idea, free their mind from the shackles of militancy, the Tamils in Sri Lanka will never have a chance of realizing their freedom for an independent homeland in Sri Lanka.

    The militancy idea, translated by LTTE into action, not only failed but also has exposed the whole Tamil civilians to a stateless condition in Sri Lanka today. Those who have witnessed the genocide of innocent Tamils in 2009 will NEVER float this idea again. Once is more than enough to say NEVER AGAIN. Even if those voicing their indirect militant support will experience the same result by exposing the Tamil civilians in Sri Lanka again to another genocide or exodus of Tamils from Sri Lanka.

    It is easy to entertain the militant idea against majority Singhalese community. It was thought that India would hurry to support the Tamils by extending deterrence against Sri Lanka on its war on LTTE and Tamils civilians. The reality was to the opposite: Decimation of LTTE, displacement of innocent Tamils, the present stateless condition of Tamils, etc.

    Tamil politicians in Sri Lanka have to field in their efforts in wielding a joint democratic voice for the reinstatement of basic human rights of Tamil civilians in Sri Lanka. Tamils or their political representatives ARE NOT IN A STRONG POSITION to make any deal of their own with the Singhalese government today. When you position is weak, you have to learn to refrain from exposing the innocent Tamils to further genocide. This is the old wisdom of surviving. This is the gist of my writings.

    Today the art of communication has refined to such as a level as to incorporate the powerful human values into the issues troubling a society. That communication is RECONCILIATION with your enemy.

    I do not write any articles to any Singhalese web sites nor am interested in pretending to write any anti Tamil articles to any news media. That is not the purpose in my articles.

    If accusation does not level to the commission of an act, it clearly shows a mind still growing, but not fully grown, through experimenting with its own fancy ideas.

    Everybody has the right to air his or her ideas. I do not expect anybody to concur with expression of my ideas nor do I agree with anybody if I see the other side of the argument more tenable and more meaningful.

    Your writings clearly show the readers how you poorly conduct yourself with informing yourself of the poly-sided argument of an idea that defies solution on a grand scale. Democracy is a basic right of each and every human being to disagree with others. A thing has more than one life just as an idea has more than one face.

    Whether my writings appeal to a fragment of Tamil Diaspora or not is not the issue here. The issue is the continued search for a lasting solution to the artificial problems the Tamil community in Sri Lanka face today.

    All the major achievements in life hide a simple fact. If you find it, you can win the whole world.

    Rushing to a conclusion clearly shows your failure of grasping the truth hidden from your view and incompetence in dealing with any situation that challenges your mind.     I am a Tamil born in Jaffna, Sri Laka. I never advocate militancy of any freedom fighter group. Militancy against the established majority community in Sri Lanka has created the present stateless condition of Tamil community in Sri Lanka. This should be a good lesson for those who still have a vain hope of reverting to arms struggle to realize their aspiration for an independent homeland for Sri Lankan Tamils.

    It is only through a political dialogue that both the dissenting parties could find a solution to the grievances experienced by the minority Tamils. First and foremost, an amicable climate for building trust to approach the other party has to be realized. It is only the trust that has the power of dissolving the knots of tension still either dominant or recessive in the relationship with the other party.

    Reconciliation with the oppressive force is NOT SURRENDER itself. It is a survival mechanism.

    Again I want to make this point clear. Who has the human nature to approach the other dissenting party to build the trust for the political dialogue? Come forward and do something to change the situation.

    I do not write nice theories here as Siva has mentioned in his post. I have already posted an article welcoming the chauvinistic writings by Roshan. Read Siva to inform yourself of the facts that will help you understand your views.

    Everybody has the right to air his or her views. If a person feels offended, he also has the same right to say his or her view or idea. Nobody is here boss or servant.

    If you deny others a certain right, you also do not have the right to enjoy it any more.

    Unknown to your consciousness, you have done a great service to Tamil Diaspora. Your chauvinistic remarks against the Tamil community in your writings have clearly shown the world who you are and what your hidden motives are. As you know there is not any chance whatsoever for you with your efforts for personal enrichment, either politically or on a gratified level. The Sri Lankan regime does not care either about you or your cry for splitting the community further.
    The great service you have done to the Tamil Diaspora is that it has brought together otherwise dissenting Tamils on major issues. What else could they have done without your chauvinistic writings? You are a wonderful friend of Tamils. Even in enmity there is a touch of hidden friendship. You have proved your worth without knowing it.
    Throw mud again and again on the face of Tamils living both in Sri Lanka and abroad. The mud will not defame them, but, instead, decorate them with garlands of compassion and understanding by the global world citizens.
    Keep doing it. You help us the Tamil Diaspora to make us drive the nail deeper and deeper into the law of consciousness of democratic leaders in power today for change in policy towards Sri Lanka.

    As per the Sinhala racist Roshan’s Messages,

    The reality is that 99% Sinhalese are like him except a few like Lasantha, even who branded LTTE as terrorists instead of freedom fighters, because the Sinhala kids are being fed with the MAHAVAMSA since birth.
    Since, Mahavamsa claims that WHOLE ISLAND BELONG TO SINHALESE and Tamils with Muslims are Illegal immigrants, Sinhala kids like ROSHAN believing that due to the teaching of MAHAVANSA since brith, then in School and Viharas and by Sinhala politicians in the island,
    But the facts supporting the Tamils

    1)Muslims adopted Tamil because the Tamils ruled the island as we came to the UK and adopt English not French

    2)99% Sinhala alphabet almost sounds like those of Tamil
    If Sinhalese are original inhabitants, Sinhala language would have been unique one without any influence of Tamil.
    Or the Sinhalese were DUMP without any language until Tamils arrived to the island as they stolen all alphabet and 14,000 Tamil words as they steal all lands of Tamils.
    3)Ancient RAMAYANA(believed to be 5000 years old and Srilanka promoting the Ramayana to lure Indian tourists)never said a word about Sinhalese but said about people who worship GOD SIVA – Tamils. NOT Krishna because the Tamils were SAIVAISTS and BRAAVE then but Now Hinduism destroyed our original religion Saivam and divided US into several Jathies.

    Well,the racist fascist Wimal Weeravansa rightly predicted about our TNA run by Indian RAW to destroy all Tamil Nationalism after the RAW directly involved in using Chemical weapons against LTTE and Tamils and using RAW funded Paramilitaries like ENDLF in LTTE dresses to shoot Tamils running scared from LTTE area to put the blame on LTTE and succeeded.
    Now the same RAW run ENDLF terrorists killing Tamils in Vanni by using the same tactics by going to the Tamils’ homes and asking them food like LTTE rebels. after the poor Tamils believing them as Tigers, the EVIL ENDLF Indian funded terrorists killing the Tamils who give the food to them.
    TNA become the new EPDP for India to destroy the Tamilnationalism after they don’t need the Paramilitaries like EPDP terrorists any more as LTTE no more there.
