Rajapakses Have put in place a new Paradigm Premised on Sinhala Supremacism and Family Bandyism

The evening began with a lullaby. A lullaby of the ‘heroic saga’ of ‘King Mihindu’ and his ‘Chief General Gotabhaya’, of how they defeated the ‘demons’ threatening the motherland. ‘Mihindu came and saved your Mother Lanka, Son’, sang the songstress, while in the foreground a troupe of dancers rocked a baby to sleep. A century from now Lankan mothers will sing such lullabies to their sons, the comperes assured the audience confidently.

The show ‘Jaya Jayawe’ was billed as a ‘Musical Tribute to the Heroes of the Nation’. As song succeeded song, it became clear that the heroes so honoured were just President Mahinda Rajapakse and Defence Secretary Gotabhaya Rajapakse (albeit a long way behind). And their mother, to whom the last song of the evening was dedicated: ‘Mother, are your watching from heaven, as the Son, who the gods and the Brahmas sent to your womb from golden palaces, is protecting the Nation?’ queried the songstress, mellifluously, casting reverential looks at the said heaven-donated son in the audience.     Singhalese who love peace, harmony, social justice and co-existence with the minority community in Sri Lanka and abroad should rise in rebellion against the atrocities the Sri Lankan government has committed during and after the war on minority Tamils.

    The country Sri Lanka belongs to the Singhalese and the Tamils. It is time the Singhalese raised their voice against Mr Mahinda Rajapakse’s government and its lawless rule of the island Sri Lanka.

    If you do not raise voice now, the history of Sri Lankan politics in the global arena will suffer further to expose you too to the same plight that the Tamils are undergoing now.

    One’s worth is explicit in the way one treats the weak and the helpless.

    In Srilankan politics the part played by the state religion Buddhism is the crucial point that most of the scholars have often failed to address. In a democratically free society, the law makers have at an earlier stage recognized that religion should be separated from politics to guarantee a free and fair society to function because the evolution of Christianity in western world was not without a stain of blood.

    In Srilanka Buddhism is the source of cultural and moral decay because it is not in the right course. Blended with politics, Buddhism colors the social mind and sets all the dark forces free. A fraction of extremist Buddhist monks churn out hate, distrust, fear of ethnicity, and discordance among various social strata. The role Buddhism plays in Srilanka is the source of all troubles. Unless these Buddhist monks are driven out of politics, the ethnic society like Srilankan Tamils will always suffer under any Srilankan regime.

    In far eastern Asian countries Buddhist monks are pillar stones of ethical and moral life unlike those in Srilanka. A good example is the Buddhist marching against the military regime of Mannamar, formerly called Burma.

    One has to note here that whatever does not prove fit to survive in nature will decay into oblivion as it is not the fittest to survive in an environment. This will prove right to the plight of Srilankan religious politics.

    There are many ways to adopt and then press ahead with a concerted action of Tamil Diaspora. The Tamil Diaspora has to collect all the factual evidences and proofs of atrocities committed against the minority Tamils in Srilankan war by state terrorism to file charges against the Srilankan President Mr Mahinda Rajapakse and his military hierarchy to face impeachment before the Independent Tribunal of the World Court.

    The elite Tamil Diaspora scholars across the world field in their efforts with Professor Prof. Francis A Boyle, an expert in International Law at the University of Illinois, USA to press charges against Srilankan President Mr Mahinda Rajapakse and his war crime military hierarchy to face impeachment before the Independent Tribunal at the World Court.

    Time never runs out to bring the perpetrators of atrocities before the World Court. The consequence of an action belongs only to the owner of the action. This is the first step in seeking justice for the minority Tamils in Srilanka.

    Just as a rolling stone gathers momentum slowly, the torch of freedom in the minds of Tamil Diaspora is glowing with concerted action and direction towards their aspiration for an independent homeland for their indigenous Tamils in Srilanka. A democratically organized movement with a real-time coordinated inter-communication in place among Diaspora Tamils will jostle the consciousness of the foreign governments to raise questions about what has already happened and what is now happening in Srilanka. Human conscience will never act against its own trauma. The present Sinhalese regime, blindly bent on wiping out an ethnic integrity, will realize the Universal Truth soon. In communal life nothing is more powerful than learning from pain and suffering through personal and communal decadence as its prize.

    A recent appearance of a VDO clip shows a very disturbing sight. Access to the VDO clip has appeared in many European online newspapers including Tamil.net.

    In the history of human science in politics, the atrocities perpetuated against a minority by indigenous majority have always given spark to the freedom of conscience of the minority. A simple example is the case of former Yugoslavian political and military leaders who have already faced and now face impeachment before the World Court. This impeachment is legally tenable by bringing charges against them by submission of evidences and proofs of atrocities against humanity and serves to destroy the EGO that has caused many lives to wither during the Balkan war. When someone has committed a serious crime, the time never runs out to bring him or her to face the consequence of the action of the perpetrator. This draws a parallel line to the part played by both the Srilankan President Mr Mahinda Rajapakse and his military hierarchy. However strong you may pretend to appear to the world or to your own folks by hiding the fact of mass killings of innocent unarmed Tamils during the war against the Tamil minority under various false approaches or fortify your castle with military installations to protect you after you have committed a series of crimes against a helpless and unarmed ethnic minority, the consequence of your own evil actions will definitely creep through your own castle and mete out justice to the oppressed ethnic race. No force in the universe has the power to snip out the Truth.

    Another sad realization is the role by the UN Secretary General for not conducting his duties in implementing deterrent measures during the genocide of innocent Tamils in Srilanka.

    By all accounts it is time the UN Secretary General was replaced by someone with a strong charisma and a sound knowledge of human suffering of the downtrodden across the world. The UN Secretary General has proved incompetence in fulfilling his duties vested in him under UN Charter and a lack of moral and ethical guidance in issues like that in Srilanka.

    All the political leaders in power today are aware of their guilty conscience after they have witnessed the cruel genocide of innocent and unarmed Tamil civilians by the Srilankan government forces in 2009. Their empty words emboldened the aggressors Srilankan government and the Union of India. Their inaction in the implementation of contingency policy in restraining the war monger Srilanka headed by Mr Mahinda Rajapakse is an anathema to the principles of democracy. Democracy digs her graveyard deeper and deeper, unable to see her nakedness.

    The leader of the most powerful nation in the world President Obama has the responsibility in taming the war monger nation Srilanka and persuading the Srilankan regime to find a solution by political process to the grievances of the Tamil minority soon. As long as the minority grievances are sidetracked, they create dangerous political hot spots for other war monger countries like India, Pakistan, China, and other undemocratic states to profit from the tragedy of war torn Tamil minority in Srilanka. Should the world still be silent over the abject living conditions and loss of life of Tamil minority in Sri lanka?

    Where democracy fails, there emerge anti government elements to assert their rightful claim to political integration. Violence is not the solution to problems in life. Only peaceful solutions stabilize conditions to create trust across the dissenting parties. The US, and all the European countries have the onus confero -ferre -tuli –latum,

    Exposed to harsh living conditions during and after the war on terrorism by the Srilankan government under various fancy political ideas, more than 70,000 innocent death toll of Tamil community have been registered according to reliable sources. Instead of democracy that pacifies the minority to live without fear in a multi-cultural society in Srilanka, state terrorism rules every day social life in Srilanka. Selected killings of Tamils by government forces have become an unpleasant sight there. Doesn’t it flagellate the law of conscience of any political leaders in power today around the world? Why don’t the strong democratic countries like the US, UK, Canada, and other nations raise voice in the UN to implement a policy of stability in Srilanka? By being a silent observer of state violence in Srilanka, these countries throw mud on their faces while they boast that they are democratic countries.

    The source of trouble today is the UN policy towards Srilanka. Secretary General Mr Ban-Ki-Moon is a powerless political leader in the UN. It is time he was sacked from his post for the election of a new strong UN Secretary General who shows administrative capability in implementing policies, strong calibre of moral character, and exudes authority towards removing injustice in war torn nations. First of all get rid of stooges of war monger paid-list nations in the UN in order to implement cohesive policies. They are the stumbling blocks to any constructive policies. Unless and until you get rid of weeds in your garden, the weeds have the upper hand in sapping the blood of a globally neutral organization called the UN. The UN was not created to support state terrorism around the world. The world today needs a new and strong UN General Secretary.

    Extreme pain, suffering, abject living conditions, stateless condition without any democratic rights in their homeland Srilanka, the Tamil community has shown their steel character to live through the state violence during and after the war on terrorism by the Srilankan government. Not a single nation in the world treats its own citizens as untouchables and stateless prisoners
    in its own territory as is practised in Srilanka. Is it what UN Secretary General Mr Ban-Ki-Moon preaches to the world citizens?

    All the democratic nations in the world have the accountability for an integration policy of
    co-existence in world politics. The Union of India, always suspicious of Srilankan Tamils, is the stumbling block to any peace talks between the Tamil and Singhalese politicians in Srilanka. Unless and until the Union of India is disintegrated into its independent principalities, there will never be any peaceful climate to create the trust needed for a dialogue. Already there are signs of disintegration of the Union of India with the emergence of Telengana and other nine independent principalities. Chinese support of Maoists in India will create the disintegration of the Union of India. A disintegrated India will restrain itself from insinuating into the political life of small nations like Srilanka when its encroaching power in weakened in the Indian Ocean. What you sow in other people’s life will be rewarded in your own backyard. India will realize this soon.

    As long as social criminals, wearing sheep skin in the society, fool the democratic world, the world will not notice their crimes. It is the same of Srilankan government today. The government is formed of hard core criminals. As the first step for democracy to realize in Srilanka, these criminals should be brought before the International Court of Justice to face charges and receive harsh punishment.

    Pain and suffering in human life, though unpleasant to the life, create something strong in life. They embolden the inner strength and coalesce into codes of discipline moral strength to face future challenges.

    A footnote:

    One wonders why one of the nuclear power nations India now breaks up into its independent principalities is no more a pleasant sight to the world politics than before.

    India has to clean its backyard to install social justice first and security of equal rights to the oppressed Adivasis in India. It is not violence that rules a society, but a balanced constitution of a country.

    Without even installing peace in her backyard India proceeded to connive at the genocide of Sri Lankan Tamil by collusion with Sri Lankan government by supplying military hardware, logistic surveillance, satellite mapping, chemical weapons, masquerading techniques, and so on.

    The results of one’s actions will creep back to the initiator through time.

    This is what Lord Krishna said in the annals of Indian religious history.

    Logic and reason are the fulcrums of intelligence. It is with the help of logic and reason that solutions to challenging issues are searched for. But in human life logic and reason are not all that count. They have their pitfalls too.

    Beyond a certain level, logic and reason break up leading into chaos.

    It was the great genius physicist Albert Einstein who proposed this idea, but the conventional theorists ignored it because they heavily depended on the application of logic and reason to challenging issues.

    Today Albert Einstein’s words have found a solid ground in modern social and scientific application theories.

    Used without direction and human values, logic and reason march into anarchism and destroy one’s own identity.

    Definitely the Satan’s image will dissolve without a trace. Already there are ripples of corrective measures in place to roll like stones. When the stones gather momentum, no force in the world can stop it.

    A cry for social justice for the suppressed always succeeds because it is louder than any other noise in the Universe.

    Nobody in the Universe can escape the results of the actions he or she has initiated. This is the way the Mother Nature asserts her integrity.

    Power without social justice never holds forth.

    I agree with you everything except the “”no win no fee”" which only possible if the lawyers can get the money from the losers but Srilanka will not pay anyway.
    Add to your points with Boycott and War crimes trials, we have to unite the EELAM TAMIL PARTIES first URGENTLY before the Election to make sure the TNA win all seats to prevent the SIN-HELLa NAZIS using our hands to stab our eyes.
    Unless we Tamils – mainly in Eelam, Tamil Diaspora and Tamilnadu – Synchronize and fight against the NAZI Srilanka, we will get nowhere.
    Not only targeting all the Srilankan exports and destroy but also create worldwide GLOBALISE Tamil industries to allow the western companies to import similar items CHEAPER than the NAZI Srilanka by textile industries in Tamils living Malaysia, Tamilnadu, Reunion, South Africa, Mauritius, Seychells, etc for twin benefits

    It is Paramount to have a Mechanism to call our Tamil Parties to the West and discuss issues with them to unite them and make some of them withdrawing the candidates to allow TNA win all seats by paying the deposits paid by the candidates because the Srilanka will SINHALISE all Tamil areas after the election as they have been doing now if TNA will not become the SOLE Tamil reps in the forthcoming election.

    Tamil Diaspora must urge and persuade the Tamil Parties united and withdraw their candidates in order to enable the TNA wins all seats. According to the Srilankan Proportional system, people vote for the Parties who can name anyone as MPs not like the First pass the Post UK system.
    Is is pathetic on our part of Tamil Parties like TNA and TNLA even after witnessing the SRILANKAN UNITED GENOCIDE of TAMILS in 2009.
