Crowds hoot Mahinda and Nandamithra Ekanayake

1 MP CROSS OVERArts and Cultural Affairs Minister Nandimithra Ekanayake was humiliated at an election rally of the United People’s Freedom Alliance (UPFA) in Na-ula today when the crowd started hooting him.

Mr. Ekanayake supported Maitripala Sirisena against Rajapaksa at the January Presidential Election, but now he is supporting Mahinda Rajapaksha for the Parliament election. He is now a UPFA candidate for the Matale District under Mahinda group.

The rally was attended by former president Mahinda Rajapaksa who is calling himself as the UPFA’s prime ministerial candidate.

Despite being hooted by his UPFA supporters, Mr. Ekanayake began to speak. Mr. Rajapaksa, and former minister Janaka Bandara Tennakoon signed the people to stop hooting but they continued to hoot.
