Modi wants more devolution in Sri Lanka?

08-modi- singhNarendra Modi pushed Sri Lanka President Mahinda Rajapaksa to deliver on his promises to devolve wide powers to the country’s Tamil-majority regions in May 2009 before his Army killed more than 40,000 Tamil Civilians.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi pushed Sri Lankan President Mahinda Rajapaksa hard, asking for him to deliver on his promises to devolve wide powers to the country’s Tamil-majority regions — a formula called ‘Thirteen-Plus’ that was promised during diplomatic negotiations with former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki Moon in April/May 2009 which gave Rajapaksha a free pass to kill more than 40,000 Tamil Civilians in May 2009 alone.

The Rajapaksha’s army killed more than 1000 LTTE Leaders and their family members who surrendered with white flags after UN negotiated the surrender with the Sri Lanka authorities, this killing has embarrassed the UN as in future no conflicting parties can trust the UN’s negotiators as seen in Nigeria.

“Early and full implementation of the 13th Amendment and going beyond would contribute to this process,” Foreign Secretary Sujata Singh quoted Mr. Modi as telling the Sri Lankan President.

But PM Modi is not aware that SL President is refusing to even implment the 13th amendment of the constitution of the countries constitution. He made the promise to implement the 13+, to fool  the than PM Manmohan Singh and successfully managed make him and Sonia Ganthi a bunch of idiots which made congress loose complete support in Tamil Nadu. Manmohan Singh and Sonia supported Rajapaksha to kill the Tamils against the protest by all Tamil leaders in Tamil Nadu.

‘Thirteen-Plus’ has never been precisely defined, but the 13th Amendment to Sri Lanka’s Constitution which created provincial councils and made both Tamil and Sinhala official languages.

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa had boycotted Mr. Modi’s swearing-in ceremony on Monday, to protest against his invitation to Rajapaksa and his racist government known for cheating and killing the minorities to stay in power.

The SL Northern Chief Minister Wikneswaren refused to join Rajapaksha who is trying to fool the Mr Modi as he did with Manmohan Singh and Sonia.

The UNP the SL opposition party has warned Rajapaksha last week that he will not be able to fool PM Modi as he did with Manmohan Singh and Sonia.

Can Rajapaksha fool PM Modi? with the support of Subramanium Swamy he may do it.
