Wimal warns of Modi cannot be fooled as we did with Singh.

images (1)Government Minister Wimal Weerawansa has warned that Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi may pose a threat to Sri Lanka’s Government. But the Sri Lankan government is counting on Sushma Swaraj, External Affairs Minister of India and anti Tamil Subramanium Swamy to help them fool PM Modi as they did with Manmohan singh.

The Minister said that Modi and his new Government has pushed for the full implementation of the 13th Amendment to the constitution and will add pressure on the Sri Lankan Government on the promises made by President Rajapaksha to implement more than 13th amendment to than PM Manmohan Singh and Sonia Ganthi in 2009.

In May 2009 India made the western leaders to trust the promises made by President Rajapaksha who promised to implement more than 13th amendment as a political package to solve the Tamil problem and helped his army Kill more than 40,000 Tamil Civilians and more than 1000 LTTE Leaders and their family members who surrendered with white flag after UN negotiated the surrender.

But now as the LTTE is no more the Sinhala racist government is refusing to even implement the current constitution of the country in full. The Rajapaksha government is closely associated with anti Tamil racist organisations like NFF, JHU, MEP, BBS and is now refusing to even implement the 13th amendment of the countries constitution in full.

“It is only the Sri Lankan people who can decide on the 13th Amendment and what’s best for Sri Lanka(current Rscist government),” the Minister said at a function.

Weerawansa says the Government must play its cards well when dealing with India and other countries, including South Africa which has already appointed a special envoy to deal with Sri Lanka. Sri Lankan government is using China, Russia, Pakistan and Iran as its support base against India and Western world who ants equal rights to all in Sri Lanka.
