The big laugh of the town was when the former President Mahinda Rajapaksa said that ”the new government should stop acting in a way that would cause racial conflict in the country”.
He added that certain politicians in the government have been acting in a way which has caused racial tension within the people.
Mahindas great pal and stunt master MP Wimal Weerawansa further conveyed his opinion on people of power causing racial tension within the country.
Interestingly Mahinda and Wimal were supporting and protecting the racial attackers when they were in power.
After the Ltte were killed Mahinda refused to implement his promised 13+ amendment to the constitution which he promised to the western leaders if he is allowed to kill more than 40,000 Tamil civilians and more than 1000 LTTE Leaders and their family members who surrendered with white flag after UN negotiated the deal in may 2009.
But Racist Mahinda showed his true face after the killing of thousands of Tamil civilians took cover behind China. The Western leaders who talk big about Human Rights backed off when they saw China fully backing Sri Lankan governments killing of Tamils.
Mahinda called for the snap election with the belief that he and his sons can rule Sri Lanka for next 50 years by playing the racist card, but like the unexpected Brexit and Trump win Mahinda lost the election by a small margin to his party man Maithiri back stepping him.
Mahinda and Gotha are suspected of creating BBS to create racial tension and even proposed to make Sri Lanka a Sinhala Buddhist country when they were in power. During Mahinda rule Journalists and Human Rights supporters were killed by government forces and the killers were given diplomatic posts to protect them from War Crime.
Gotabaya Rajapaksa has been accused of being behind the Bodu Bala Sena (BBS) and the hate campaign. Minister Dissanayake said that while Gotabaya Rajapaksa played a key role to defeat the LTTE, he also created the BBS and hate crimes seen today may also have his involvement.
