Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) has no two Presidents and President of the SLFP is President Maithripala Sirisena says its General Secretary, Agriculture Minister, Duminda Dissanayake.
The Minister made this statement by pointing out that the Sri Lanka Freedom Party had responded to a statement made by former President Mahinda Rajapakse for the presidency of the party.
Media reported that former President Mahinda Rajapakse has stated that he has no resignation or withdrawal from the post of SLFP President. He is yet to be the Chairman of the SLFP and stated that he could convene a party convention as well.
