We will hold discussions with SLMC – Basil Rajapaksa

mahinda brothersThe Minister of Economic Development Basil Rajapaksa announced that government willing to hold discussions with SriLanka Mulsim Congress in near future, Sinhala newspaper reports.

The general secretary of the SriLanka Freedom Party Susil Premajayantha already hold discussions with SLMC general secretary Azan Ali.

This discussion would be hold inorder to urge support for the presidential election.

National Freedom Front, Lanka Samasamajaya Party, Ceylon Workers Congress, National Workers Congress and the Tamil People Liberation Party already agreed to support the government in the upcomming presidential election.

SriLanka Freedom Party appointed special representatives to urge support towards president.

During a heated argument Basil Rajapaksa had called CWC parliamentarian and Deputy Minister Muththu Sivalingam as ‘Para Demala,’ a much used racial slur against Tamils, the paper said.
