“Same time we are [JVP] inviting all the Sri Lankans to join us to go beyond the January 8, for Democracy in Sri Lanka. We planned and launch a program to get rid of Rajapaksa government and we are certain that we will deliver that on 9th of January for the public,” he said.
“Regardless of who is coming as the new president, we like to clean the parliament and get more decent parliament members for good governance after the next general election. Also we need a harmonious relationship among all the communities in the country regardless of religion, race and other differences,” Dissanayake added.
