Lord Naseby trying to mislead the UK Lords again?

LordsThe British House of Lords is to comment on the just concluded Presidential election in Sri Lanka following a request put forward by a member of the House of Lords.

Lord Naseby a close associate of former President Mahinda Rajapaksha who is accused of War crimes had asked for an assessment of the conduct and result of the presidential election in Sri Lanka, when the House of Lords meets tomorrow.

Lord Naseby a close associate of former President Mahinda Rajapaksha is working hard to cover up the killing of more than 40,000 Tamil Civilians by the Army  in Month of May 2009 alone and killing of more than 1000 LTTE Leaders and their family members who surrendered with White Flags after UN negotiated the ‘White Flag surrender in May 2009.

Lord Naseby had been accused of misleading the Lords to cover up the crimes by the Sri Lankan government forces on the minority Tamils and Muslims in Sri Lanka.

The British House of Lords last month had a short debate on Sri Lanka and discussed trade between Sri Lanka and the UK and also the forthcoming Presidential elections. During the last debate, the British government had said that it had urged Sri Lanka to invite international monitors for the January elections.
