Visiting UN Assistant Secretary General for Political Affairs Oscar Fernandez met TNA Representatives for the second time in Colombo yesterday.
Earlier the UN envoy and the TNA had lengthy discussions on the developments of the process for a political solution, Parliament Select Committee and resettlement projects when they met on Saturday in Jaffna.
TNA Media Spokesman MP Suresh Premachandran told our news team that further views were exchanged during the meeting between the two parties yesterday.
UN Assistant Secretary General for Political Affairs Oscar Fernandez met SLMC leader Rauff Hakeem on an earlier occasion and had discussions.
Meanwhile External Affairs Ministry sated the government representatives also expect to exchange views with the UN envoy during his stay in the country.
