UK MPs propose sanctions on Lanka

British Parliamentarians have proposed imposing sanctions on Sri Lanka if the Government of Sri Lanka does not allow the UN investigating team into the country. The Tamil National People’s Front’s office has been surrounded by Sri Lankan military personnel since this afternoon at 4pm local time, the party said.
