Kalyana Murugan Mahal located at Chetty Street in Colombo was declared open at a simple ceremony recently. The building was constructed under the auspices of Kathirvelautha Swamy Thevasthanam in Kathiresan Street.
Colombo Tamil Sangam President Dr. Muthiah Kathirgamanathan was the Chief Guest.
All Ceylon Hindu Congress Senior Vice President Vidaikodi Chelvar Sinnadurai Dhanabalaa and Colombo Municipal Councilor Velanai Verniyan were guests of honour.
Trustee Sathiyalingam and Ambiga Jewellers Proprietor Solaimalai lit the traditional lamps. Mrs. Veera Subramaniam, Trustee Mayuragirinathan, Ravy Ragunathan, Yogeswaran, Anandaruban and others were honoured at the event.
