IPU wants reports on 4 Tamil Lankan MPs killed

The Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) has requested Sri Lanka to reveal the progress of investigations into the deaths of four MPs, at the upcoming 133rd IPU Assembly to be held from 15 to 21 October in Geneva. Douglas urges President to release remaining land in North

EPDP leader Douglas Devananda today urged President Maithripala Sirisena and his government to take necessary measure to release the remaining land held by army forces to their rightful owners.
