Prime minister Ranil Wickremesinghe refutes media reports about a continuation of secret detention camps of the Navy in the eastern province. Speaking to BBC Sandeshaya, he said anyone is free to investigate the alleged existence of such camps. But unknown to to the powerful Prime Minister of Sri Lanka the UN OFFICIALS HAD VISITED THE SECRET TORTURE CAMPS IN TRINCOMALEE.
 
It is believed that over 700 Tamil’s have been detained at a secret Sri Lankan army camp, known as “Gota’s camp” in the Eastern port city of Trincomalee. It is claimed that most of the 700 prisoners held in these torture camps had surrendered with White Flag on the 18th May 2009.
 
PM Ranil also said the persons whose names are not in the list of missing persons, could either be dead ( or killed by the Army?) or have left the country.
mahinda-vs-ranil 3Meanwhile, Colombo chief magistrate Gihan Pilapitiya yesterday ordered the CID to find out and report as to whether five abducted Tamil youths were being detained at Gota Bay camp in Trincomalee.  The Tamil youths had been abducted by the Navy in 2008 in Colombo. These abductions of Tamil Youths, Political leaders and journalist were commonly done by Sri Lanka forces.
The questions are 
  • Why is Ranil  trying to cover-up?
  • What is the deal between Ranil and Rajapaksha?
  • Is he offered a proportion of the Gold taken away and NOT accounted from LTTE?
  • Is he offered a proportion of the Billions deposited in Saudi Bank by the so called Son of VVIP?

mr-ms 2The promises made by Maithiri and Ranil to expose the culprits in the Rajapaksha regime and bring to light the truth has NOT happened.

The accusations and the inquiries on Rajapaksha regime are wiped under the carpet one by one, Does this mean that Rajapaksha’s were clean or Ranil and Maithiri were after a share of the billions taken by Rajapaksha and have got it?

No wonder the Tamils don’t trust the Ranil/Maithiri inquiry and want a international inquiry in to the ‘War Crime’ by Sri Lankan forces under Rajapaksha.
