A UN committee has been told that ‘white van’ abductions continued in Sri Lanka even after the new Government took office last year. Felice Gaer, Vice-Chairperson of the Committee Against Torture said that Non-Governmental organisations had reported to the committee that alleged white van abductions had taken place last year.
