Gotabaya and joint opposition seek support in Japan

Former Defence Secretary Gotabaya Rajapaksa and the joint opposition are in Japan for talks with the Sri Lankan community in Japan. Rajapaksa met a group of Sri Lankans in Japan, including the Buddhist clergy. Gotabaya Rajapaksa is in Japan on an invitation extended to him by the Sri Lankan community in Japan who are supporting former President Mahinda Rajapaksa. (Colombo Gazette)
