One of the torture chambers of PLOTE, the Sri Lankan paramilitary group cum political party, has been uncovered in Jaffna city by journalists and activists. A rusted T-56 assault rifle, a pistol and magazines have also been recovered from the abandoned torture chamber. The visiting Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak has mocked the Sri Lankan government’s development priorities in the war ravaged Tamil homeland.
