Attention has been paid on introducing a price formula for medicines, revealed Dr. Prasanna Gunasena, Chairman of the State Pharmaceuticals Corporation.
Accordingly, a price formula will be prepared in a move to control the prices of imported medicines, he added.
As the value of the dollar continues to fluctuate leading to the fluctuation of the prices of medicines as well, a definite mechanism is required to control the situation, he noted.
