Working in compliance with health guidelines mandatory despite lockdown lift: Army Commander (VIDEO)

Army Commander Shavendra Silva speaking to media upon attending a religious service held at a mosque in Kollupitiya today (30) on the occasion of the 72nd Anniversary of Sri Lanka Army stated that following the health guidelines would be mandatory despite the decision to lift the quarantine curfew from 4 am tomorrow (01).

This is mainly due to the fact there are Covid-19 cases reported in the country, the Army Commander pointed out.

Despite the curfew lift, interprovincial travel restrictions will still be in force, he added.

General Silva added that he is confident that the public would be refraining themselves from reaching to public places upon the curfew lift, given that there are a lot of experience with the Covid-19 situation in the country now.
