‘Guwan Mithudam’ Project launched at Palaly


The 11th phase of the “Guwan Mithudam” Project was successfully concluded on 27 September at Palaly under the guidance of the Chairperson Seva Vanitha Unit, Charmini Pathirana.

As a part of the project, essential medical equipment was handed over to the Jaffna Teaching Hospital. These including an oxygen cylinder, blood pressure measuring apparatus, pulse oximeters, infrared thermometers, non-rebreather masks and venturi masks for the COVID-19 Treatment Unit.

The project was successfully completed under the supervision of the Commanding Officer of the SLAF Station Palaly, Group Captain HWR Chandima. The Director of the Teaching Hospital in Jaffna Dr. T. Sathiyamoorthy, who attended the occasion expressed his sincere gratitude on behalf of the hospital staff.
