Small govt. parties to meet at Gammanpila’s residence today to discuss the Kerawalapitiya agreement

It is reported that the small parties of the government are to hold a special meeting today (06) to discuss the agreement to hand over the shares of the controversial Kewaralapitiya Yugadanavi power plant to an American company.

The meeting will be held at the residence of Energy Minister Udaya Gammanpila, sources said.

The government’s smaller parties had earlier met at the headquarters of the Communist Party of Sri Lanka and the residence of former President Maithripala Sirisena to discuss the Kerawalapitiya agreement and had a special discussion with Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa.
