President Gotabaya Rajapaksa revealed that a young Buddhist monk had questioned him as to why the concept of “One Country – One Law” is not implemented, on his visit to pay homage to Ruwanweli Maha Seya.
The concept of “One Country – One Law” will be made a reality within a year’s period, he noted.
Steps will be taken within the next year to establish a fair and accountable electoral system for those who wish to change the current corrupt electoral system and to introduce a new Constitution, the President added.
