India’s Army Commander arrives in Sri Lanka Army Headquarters






The Chief of the Army Staff of the Indian Army (COAS) General Manoj Mukund Naravane who is on a five-day tour in Sri Lanka has arrived in the Sri Lanka Army Headquarters today (13).

Upon being welcomed by his Sri Lankan Counterpart Army Commander General Shavendra Silva and other senior officials of the Sri Lanka Army, the Indian Army Commander paid an observation visit in the HQ.

The Indian Army Commander visited the Indian Peace Keeping Force Memorial in Battaramulla and paid tributes to the Indian peacekeepers who died in Sri Lanka.

General Manoj Mukund Naravane is scheduled to attend the Gajaba Regiment’s anniversary celebrations tomorrow as the Chief Guest.
