WASHINGTON (Reuters) – Colin Powell, the first Black U.S. secretary of state and top military officer, died on Monday at the age of 84 due to complications from COVID-19. Thirty medical centres established for Covid treatment have been closed due to the declining number of cases reported in Sri Lanka, health authorities revealed. 278 Covid treatment centres were operational islandwide and the number has now been dropped to 248.
